| Navori Player v5.2 is a highly reliable multimedia software player designed to operate 24/7 – 365. This module communicates with the Navori Server v5.2 over a LAN or the Internet and updates are retrieved and processed in background without affecting playback.
Navori Player v5.2 runs on Windows 7, Vista and XP (all versions, 32 and 64 bit).
Navori Player v5.2 supports all types of multimedia content:
- Adobe Flash® and Shockwave®.
- All types of video including.
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2007®.
- HTML, ASP, JSP pages.
- Live and Streaming TV
- DirectX compatible TV Tuner Card.
- Streaming video (via MMS).
- IPTV.

Navori Player v5.2 supports Playlists scheduled in Navori Server. Playlists may contain:
- Full screen media.
- Zoned content showing multiple media clips simultaneously.
Navori Player v5.2 supports several types of Banners:
- Text Crawl that can either be:
- Typed in text.
- A text file on an external server or LAN share.
- Live RSS feeds.
- An Animated Flash Banner set as a background or foreground element.
- Banners can be shown or hidden for each media clip.
Navori Player v5.2 supports media-on-demand (Boost Media):
Boost Media clips are on-demand media that can be triggered by:
- A predefined keyboard shortcut. If the corresponding keys are pressed at the Player end, the Boost Media clip launches.
- A preset date and time.
- A remote trigger (XML) via LAN or the Internet (requires optional module).
- Event based trigger generated from an RFID, Fire Alarm or Public Warning Systems.
Navori Player v5.2 is multi-screen compliant:
- Display content spanning multiple screens or repeat the same content in each screen using a single PC and multi-head video card.
- Multiple screens can be synchronized based on specific content (add-on required).
- You are only limited by the Player PC hardware.
Operational/Technical Features:
- Screens can be powered on and off in two ways:
- Navori Player cuts the PCs video output so any energy saving screen will automatically power itself down (requires Energy Star or VESA compliant screen).
- RS232 codes can be configured and sent via serial port equipped PCs and screens. Mono and bidirectional communications are supported.
- Players upload several types of reports to the Navori Server:
- Player activity monitoring.
- Media proof of playback reports.
- Player download status.
- NEW! Get near real-time activity notification and PC health monitoring when you install the Navori Extended Watchdog on your Players (requires add-on module sold separately).
- Scheduled periodic Player reboot events to ensure peak performance.
- Players can be updated via many sources:
- Internet
- LAN
- Anonymous connection
- Authenticated connection
- USB storage devices (external hard drives, flash memory drives)
- Flash memory cards ( such as SD, XD, Smart Media, Memory Stick and others)
- CD/DVD
- Satellite
- Publishing updates to one or multiple Players is seamless and performed in background.
- Player software is designed to be extremely reliable over long periods.
