One of the largest French expo and convention centers deploys Swiss technology for signage and way finding
Digital signage expert integrator MYOOH installed a NAVORI QL platform running the event sign-age displays in the EUREXPO convention center in Lyon, France.
Screens are used for visitor welcome messages in the entrance area and also display information and time schedules of the different venues.

Second biggest US air-way hub chooses Swiss technology partner.
Swiss software developer NAVORI was awarded a contract for the Digital Signage system being deployed at Chicago’s O’Hare air-port.
In a first phase the NAVORI QL system will display way finding information, flight information and real-time news and weather information in the airport’s main corridors.
In case of any calamity, emergency and evacuation messages can be triggered automatically.
A second project phase incudes further roll-out in the airport building as well as the installation of Signage screens in the terminal shuttle trains and buses.
These automotive screens will have secure 3G and WiFi connection and will display location based real time information as well as audio and video announcements of the trajectory and gates. Audio files can be as-signed to the automotive player units announcing next stop or terminal information. Location-based and position precise content can be created and delivered to these vehicles with NAVORI QL Manager.

NAVORI QL is currently deployed in all ALJ Toyota dealerships and a further roll out into the ALJ group is planned.

In a further stage the system will interact with their Room Management System. Apart from their traditional lobby signage applications, KEMPINSKI will then be able to target its customers more specifically, up to interactive scenario’s such as personalized welcome messages and way finding content.
To enable this their MICROS FIDELIO RMS OPERA system will synchronize data with NAVORI QL, the renowned second generation Digital Signage platform. NAVORI QL was the solution of choice for this deployment. Main criteria are the play-back quality of the NAVORI QL Player software, the ease of use and the possibility to seamlessly integrate the QL Digital Signage solution in the existing workflow.
The initial installation was done by Navori Certified Partner in the Baltic states, UAB HANSAB.
Multiple screens are running Core-Playback, Template and Ticker Designer and Real-Time monitoring.
Kempinski is very interested in the Playback monitoring capability of NAVORI QL for billing their advertising, creating additional revenue streams.
TV Tuner is also being considered to relay TV streams throughout the hotels.
A unique NAVORI QL module will be installed that will manage interactive kiosk systems. Customer or circumstance related content can then be triggered, based on the information and profile on the RFID room key card of the hotel guests or RFID visitor badges. NAVORI fully qualified on all requirements and the first screens are now operational in Kempinski Hotel Cathedral Square in Vilnius. A further roll-out to other hotels of the KEMPINSKI chain is planned for the near future.

While competing software products offer playback accuracy down to each second of video content, Navori QL’s media playback engine has frame by frame video accuracy down to 1/30th of a second. The momentary black gaps common to most systems when playing back-to-back videos are gone using QL. If required, those gaps would need to be designed and programmed back in.
