Multi-player Synchronization I QL Pro

Multi-Player synchronization is necessary whenever you have multiple displays within your field of vision.  It’s a situation you often see in hotel lobbies, restaurants and retail stores. Synchronizing players improves the impact of your digital signage installation, by showing a common message across multiple displays regardless of their layout. Ideally, this should work across many technologies such as SoC  and LED displays or video walls.

What sets apart QL Player’s synchronization feature is the fact it works not only on videos, but on any type of content including templates with embedded objects and live data. Unlike most other player software, QL Player synchronization works on mixed hardware and display layouts. Navori QL can also synchronize players running different operating systems or display layout.

How does it work? Navori’s engineers created a time stamp streamer that synchronizes each media player’s clock with QL Server.  This feature is  precise to 1/20th of a second. The only requirement: the synchronized content must have the same duration. Maximum gap between media players: Plus or minus 2 frames on video rendering.
